Pakistan Team To Visit India For Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025
The Pakistan team will be travelling to India for Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 is set to be held in the Indian city of Rajgir, Bihar.

For hockey fans, the rivalry between India and Pakistan is as epic as is witnessed in the field of cricket. While both the countries are reluctant to travel to the other side to play cricket, the same is not the case in hockey, as Pakistan is set to visit India for the Asia Cup 2025.
The Pakistan team will be travelling to India for Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 is set to be held in the historic Indian city of Rajgir, Bihar.
Speaking of Pakistan’s team visit to India, Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey said, “Any match between India and Pakistan anywhere in the world is always exciting and good to watch. In 2023 also, when the ACT was held in Chennai, the two teams played a good game. And I expect it to be similar when the two teams face off in Rajgir also for which the fans would come in numbers.”
Despite diplomatic tensions, players of both the nations have traveled to the other side.
The Indian Davis Cup Team visited Pakistan last year. Pakistan Football team visited India in 2023 to take part in the SAFF Championship. The Indian players have also participated at the Bridge Federation of Asia, and Middle-East Championships in Lahore that year.
The Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 will take place from 29th August to 7th September at the recently developed Rajgir Hockey Stadium.
Eight teams will feature in the continental tournament. While six teams have already qualified, the remaining two will secure their spots through the AHF Cup.

The teams which has already qualified for the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 are:

- Pakistan
- Japan
- Korea
- China
- Malaysia
The Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 will be the 12th edition of the tournament , the quadrennial international men’s field hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation.
The winner will qualify for the 2026 Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands and Belgium.South Korea are the defending champions
