PCB Hall Of Fame 2024 Welcomes Four Cricket Legends: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Friday that Inzamam-ul-Haq, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mushtaq Mohammad, and Saeed Anwar have been added to the PCB Hall of Fame 2024.
Inzamam, Misbah, Mushtaq, and Anwar Join the Prestigious PCB Hall Of Fame 2024
They join other greats like Abdul Qadir, AH Kardar, Fazal Mahmood, Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Younis Khan, and Zaheer Abbas on the prestigious list.
The PCB usually adds two former cricketers to its Hall of Fame each year. However, since no inductions were made in 2023, four players were included in PCB Hall of Fame 2024. Among them is batting legend Inzamam-ul-Haq, who played for Pakistan from 1991 to 2007. He was part of the team that won the 1992 Cricket World Cup under Imran Khan and also captained Pakistan in the 2007 ODI World Cup held in the West Indies.
Misbah-ul-Haq represented Pakistan from 2001 to 2017. He was part of the team that won the 2009 T20 World Cup and captained Pakistan to the No.1 spot in the ICC Test rankings in 2016.
Mushtaq Mohammad played for Pakistan between 1959 and 1979. He captained the team to its first-ever Test victory in Australia in 1977, participated in the inaugural Cricket World Cup in 1975, and later coached Pakistan to the 1999 World Cup final.
Saeed Anwar played for Pakistan from 1989 to 2003, scoring 31 centuries and 68 half-centuries. He made significant contributions in the 1996, 1999, and 2003 World Cups, scoring three centuries and three half-centuries.
PCB Hall Of Fame 2024 – PCB Chairman Pays Tribute to the Cricket Giants
The PCB chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, paid tribute to the four legends, stating that these players have a special place in Pakistan’s cricket. “These four giants of the game hold a special place in Pakistan’s rich cricketing history,” Naqvi said in a statement issued by PCB.
“Their contributions not only elevated the sport within Pakistan but also inspired future generations to pursue excellence. Their talent, charisma, and unwavering commitment have made them true ambassadors of cricket and the PCB takes immense pride in honoring their accomplishments,” the statement further added.

Pakistan Cricket Board is all set to host an ICC event for the first time in three decades, as they will host the much-awaited Champions Trophy 2025. However, the Indian cricket team will be playing all their fixtures in Dubai, as the BCCI has decided not to send their team to Pakistan because of security concerns.
