The Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) concluded with Dabang Delhi K.C. being crowned as the champions. The Fazel Atrachali-led side overcame Puneri Paltan 31–28 at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Friday night to lift their second championship title.
Delhi had been dominant this season. They had booked direct entry to the Final beating Pune in Qualifier 1.
Neeraj Narwal with 8 raid points and Ajinkya Pawar with 6 raid points spearheaded Delhi’s attack. Veteran defender Fazel Atrachali led from the back with his trademark composure, producing a crucial late tackle on Aditya Shinde that sealed the win.
For Puneri Paltan, Aditya Shinde shone with a Super 10, while Abinesh Nadarajan impressed with 4 tackle points, but their efforts ultimately went in vain.
The contest swung both ways- with All Outs, Super Tackles, and last-minute heroics- but Delhi’s early six-point cushion and their ability to absorb late pressure proved decisive.
The PKL 12 which kicked off on 29 August, was held in four legs- Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Jaipur, and Delhi- capital in which 12 teams battled fiercely, for the title glory. It was Dabang Delhi K.C. who prevailed in the end.

Most Valuable Player (MVP): Fazel Atrachali

The Iranian Sultan, Fazel Atrachali, was named the MVP of PKL 12. Known for his commanding presence in defence, Fazel played a pivotal role in guiding Delhi to the title, delivering crucial tackles and marshaling the team throughout the season. He made a total of 55 points with 66% raid strike rate and 54% tackle strike rate.
Best Raider of the Season: Ayan Lohchab

The Best Raider award went to Ayan Lohchab, who was the heart of Patna Pirates’ attack. Ayan amassed an impressive 316 raid points, including 252 successful raids, 39 do-or-die raid points, and 9 super raids, making him one of the most lethal raiders of the season.
Best Defender of the Season: Navdeep

Patna Pirates’ defensive stalwart Navdeep was awarded the Best Defender of PKL 12. He topped the tackle charts with 73 tackle points and 65 successful tackles.
Best New Young Player: Deepak Sankar
Deepak Sankar (Bengaluru Bulls)
The Best Emerging Player award was bagged by Deepak Sankar of Bengaluru Bulls. He earned a total of 64 points this season.
