Prague Masters is coming to an end with the final round taking place tomorrow 7 February 2025. The third last round on Day 7 was held yesterday, and it was one of the most decisive rounds in the tournament, especially after the previous round with zero wins.
It’s currently being held at the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague and the results of Day 7 will surprise you, so let’s take a look at them.
Prague Masters Day 7: Winners, Losers, and Highlights
Aravindh Chithambaram of India, who has been dominating the top for a long time, further strengthened his position by securing a win against Anish Giri in yesterday’s match. Meanwhile, Praggnanandhaa, who is in the second position on the leaderboards, could not secure a win despite the given time advantage and good positioning. He ended up in a draw against Wei Yi.
Sam Shankland made a comeback, and after drawing and losing several previous matches, he jumped to the third position, replacing Quang Liem after defeating him in yesterday’s match.
