Premier League 2024-25: Matchday 19 Round Up, Results, Current Standings
Liverpool have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points. The Reds put a hapless West Ham and decimated them 5-0 on Sunday, at the London Stadium.

The Matchday 19 of the Premier League 2024-25 which went right into the New Year’s Eve and on the New Year concluded. Liverpool confirmed its position as table leaders, followed by Chelsea in second. Nottingham Forest climbed up the ladder to secure the third spot.
The highlight of the Matchday 19 was Manchester City’s return to its winning ways. Pep Guardiola’s side got the better of Leicester City to triumph 0-2.

Chelsea lost ground in the title race on Monday too after they fell to a shock 2-0 defeat at Ipswich. Manchester United, meanwhile, lost 2-0 at home to Newcastle on facing third straight league defeat.
Crystal Palace moved six points clear of the relegation zone by coming from behind to beat Southampton 2-1. Fulham, meanwhile, were held to a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at home.
Arsenal then cut Liverpool’s lead down to six points by beating Brentford 3-1 on New Year’s Day.
