PUBG Mobile just released out their 4.5 version update and it’s a big one. The headline feature is a full Naruto Shippuden crossover, complete with the Hidden Leaf Village, ninja abilities you can actually use in matches, and a lot of new content in Metro Royale. There’s also a Ferrari collaboration on the way.

In this article we mention the new PUBG Mobile 4.5 update guide.

When did the update go live?

The rollout started on 8 July 2026. The update was available everywhere in the world by the morning of 9 July. The update rollout may take a bit time to reach your device depending on where you are and the app store the update is coming from so if the update does not show up on your device right away do not worry about the update. The update will be available, to you it is a matter of time and the rollout of the update will reach your device soon.

What’s new in PUBG Mobile 4.5

The Naruto Shippuden collaboration is by far the biggest addition and it goes way beyond simple costume skins. Players can hop into a Hidden Leaf Village-themed mode called Ninjas Assemble, which transforms familiar map areas into recognizable anime locations, such as the Ninja Academy and the Valley of the End. You’ll also get to use ninjutsu abilities like Shadow Clone Jutsu, Chidori and Fire Ball Jutsu and even face off against the Nine Tailed Fox, Kurama, in a special encounter.

In addition to the Naruto content, the update also adds new content to Metro Royale, as well as expands World of Wonder with new creator tools and templates. And if you’re into car skins, keep an eye out for the Ferrari collaboration that is going to be released shortly after the main update.

  5. Open the game afterward so it can download any remaining data.
  6. That’s it. You’re all set to jump into the new Naruto-themed mode.

A quick tip

If you are downloading using your data this update is quite big because of all the new Naruto stuff.

It would be better to connect to Wi-Fi first.
