The team is doing exceptionally well considering they were fighting the relegation battle last season and just survived at 16th position. David Moyes has managed the team very well. Players like Declan Rice and Soucek are bossing the midfield. They get the ball back for the team and are great in transition play. Antonio in the attack has been their main man from the beginning of the season. The player who changed the scenario for West Ham is a new mid-season signing Jesse Lingard.

Jesse Lingard is brought on Loan From Manchester United and is in the best form of his career. He has made 9 appearances for the club and has scored 8 goals and has provided 3 assists. In the last 10 games, West Ham has won 6 games beating teams like Tottenham and Leicester City and has lost just 2 times to the Manchester clubs. West ham has not been in the Champions League spot for the past 2 decades.

With 7 or 8 games remaining for the season to end, this season is probably the most exciting one, as we might see some big turn arounds and some big teams missing out on the Champions League.
