The Spanish icon shared his decision in an emotional video on social media, expressing his deep gratitude for the support he has received over the years.

Known for his incredible resilience and strength on the court, Nadal leaves behind a legacy, especially in clay-court tennis. He dominated the French Open, winning a record 14 titles, making him nearly unbeatable on the surface.

Nadal’s final appearance will be at the Davis Cup finals this November in Malaga. This will be a significant moment as Spain competes against the Netherlands in the quarter-finals from 19-21 November. After recovering from an injury that kept him away from the group stage, Nadal is set to rejoin the squad for this event.

He took the time to thank his rivals, colleagues, and fans, who supported him throughout his career. “I feel extremely fortunate for all that I’ve experienced. I want to thank everyone involved in tennis, especially my longtime rivals and colleagues. We’ve shared countless unforgettable moments together.”
