Ravichandran Ashwin praises Pakistan’s Legendary cricketer Wasim Akram

Indian Star Cricketer Ashwin Recently retweeted a throwback video of Wasim Akram in which he is seen bowling throttle reverse swing against New Zealand.

Wasim Akram, Pakistan’s Legendary Cricketers is known for his astonishing reverse swing capability. Ashwin retweeted one of his videos in which he is seen bowling reverse swing in the 44th over of the match.

In the video, Akram is seen bowling exceptionally against New Zealand in a Day International Game. Known as one of the best pacers of Pakistan, Wasim Akram is seen dominating former Kiwi batsman Chris Harris with both conventional and reverse swing.

Ashwin came across this throwback video and tweeted ” “Hello white ball !! Where are you these days?? That’s the 44 th over and reverse swing at its best from the king @wasimakramlive.”

He shared the video clip and tagged Wasim Akram in the post. As a 35-year-old, Akram announced his retirement from ODIs, after the 2003 World Cup. Akram had earlier quit Test cricket in 2002. Wasim Akram is still the highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in test cricket with 414 wickets.
