Rinku Singh began playing cricket, the most popular sport in our nation, around ten years ago. Because of his skill as an aggressive batsman, Rinku Singh was chosen for the UP under-16 team in 2013 and the UP under-19 team a few years later. He only managed to score 29 runs in the 4 games he participated in because his opportunities were few and far between. However, KKR made the decision to continue using the dangerous middle-order bat.
Rinku Singh was given a longer run finally in IPL 2022 where he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for 55 lakhs.
