Road Safety World Series 2021 : India defeats West Indies by 12 runs in the semi-final

West Indies Legends loses the match against India Legends by just 12 runs. Sachin Tendulkar’s 65-run knock and Vinay Kumar’s two wickets during the long chase sealed the win for India Legends.
India Legends booked their spot for the Road Safety World Series final on Wednesday after beating West Indies Legends by 12 runs in the semi-final at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
Sent out to bat in the first innings, India Legends got off with a great start through Virendra Sehwag hitting 35 runs and Sachin Tendulkar with 65 runs. The hosts faltered a bit in the middle of the game but the two amazing players, Yuvraj Singh with (49*) and Yusuf Pathan with (37*) balanced the game and guided India Legends to 218/3 at the end.
West Indies weren’t too behind with their strategies. With the help of Dwayne Smith scoring 63 runs and Narsingh Deonarine with 59 runs. But despite the brilliant performance and a knock of the 46-run by Brian Lara, they failed to complete the task and lost to India with 206/6 in the end.
