Robert Lewandowski set to join FC Barcelona from Bayern Munich

FC Barcelona have signed a new striker named Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich. The deal between the clubs have been agreed on Friday night as per Fabrizio Romano. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski wanted this move and he only wanted to move to the La Liga side (FC Barcelona).

Barcelona is very active in this summer transfer window as they have completed so many signings so far. They recently signed Brazilian winger Raphinha, gave new contract to Ousmane Dembele until 2024 and now signed a new striker.

They also agreed a fee for Frank Kessie last transfer window and the midfielder joined the side this summer. There are certain players they are looking to sign before the end of the transfer window. Barcelona needs defenders especially centre-back. Jules Kounde is one of the potential option Barcelona is looking at. However the fees for Kounde could be higher as compared to the other transfers.

They also want to sign Bernardo Silva, but that remains unlikely as until and unless Frenkie de Jong leaves the club, the deal will not happen (as per reports). Manchester United have already agreed a full agreement with Barcelona to sign Frenkie de Jong but the player hasn’t agreed the personal terms yet.
