Chelsea’s striker Romelu Lukaku is expected to leave the Premier League side this summer. The Serie A side Inter Milan is the club he’ll most likely be joining as reported by Sky Sports on Saturday, 4th June. Lukaku has played in Inter Milan before and he used to be one of the important players of the Serie A side.
Inter Milan did win the Serie A in the 2020/21 season when Romelu Lukaku was in the team. Antonio Conte brightly used Lukaku at Inter as he used to play along with another striker named Lautaro Martinez there. Romelu Lukaku had an interview during the 2021/22 season when he was at Chelsea. In that particular interview, he told about his desire to join Inter again as Lukaku feels he regain his best form in the Serie A side under Antonio Conte.
After that interview, it seemed Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was unhappy with the player and he didn’t have him in the playing XI for some games. It is believed that Chelsea is also looking for a new striker in the transfer market as they feel Lukaku is going to leave the club his summer.
