The 2026 FIFA World Cup is getting more interesting in Group C. In Group C, three out of four teams are still trying to get a place in the knockout stage. In Group C another match will be Morocco’s game against Haiti; that seems easy for them. Brazil has a tough game against Scotland. This game is on June 24 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Scotland beat Haiti in their first game and then they lost to Morocco in their second game. Now it’s a third game for them, and if they want to qualify, they have to win this game against Brazil.

Brazil, on the other hand, played really well against Haiti. After tying with Morocco Carlo Ancelotti’s team came strong and won 3-0. Matheus Cunha scored two goals and Vinicius Junior scored one too.

For Brazil to qualify, they just need a tie. Scotland really needs to win. This makes the game more exciting.

Let’s look at five players who could make a difference in this important game.

5. Angus Gunn (Scotland)

Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn put in an outstanding performance against Morocco. He saves many goals against Morocco; if he did not do that, then the scoreline could have been much wider. He is also reliable; his strengths are his quick reflexes and shot-stopping ability.

Brazil’s attacking stars will be giving him pressure on the field, so Scotland’s qualification hope could depend on Gunn’s performance. His performance matters most in this Brazil vs Scotland Game.

4. Rayan (Brazil)

Carlo Ancelotti had really shocked people by picking Rayan for the squad. The young player is already showing what he is made of.

Raphinha is injured so Rayan is going to play more. He is expected to play against Scotland. Rayan is quick and powerful. He is good at dribbling the ball. This is going to be a problem for the defenders on the team.

In his second game for his country, Rayan scored a goal that was the difference. “Rayan runs at the Scotland team and he can kick the ball well with his left foot so they have to be careful.

3. Scott McTominay (Scotland)

Scott McTominay is the one player Scottish fans will have the highest expectations of.

The former Manchester United midfielder was instrumental in helping Scotland qualify for the World Cup with crucial goals throughout the campaign. He is still the team’s main goal threat.

You can’t mark McTominay when he makes those late runs into the box. He is also physical and good aerially, making him a real threat in set-pieces.

McTominay will have to be at his best if Scotland are to spring an upset against Brazil.

2. Vinicius Junior (Brazil)

Vinicius Junior is playing really well now. He has scored in the two tournament matches so he must be feeling very good about himself.

Under Carlo Ancelotti, Vinícius Júnior’s game has gotten a lot better. Vinicius Junior is not just good at dribbling; he is also very good at doing things that help his team score when he is near the team’s goal.

Vinicius Junior is very fast. He is great at getting past defenders when he is on the left side of the field. This can cause problems, for any team that is trying to defend against him. The Scottish defenders will have a job trying not to give Vinicius Junior too much room to run.

When Vinicius Junior gets some space, the whole game can change in a few seconds.

1. Matheus Cunha (Brazil)

The top player on this list is Matheus Cunha. he plays for Manchester United as a forward. He has scored a couple of goals in the first two games of the tournament. Matheus Cunha is the centrepiece of Brazil’s attack.

He’s feeling really good about himself, scoring two goals against Haiti. Matheus Cunha is no ordinary striker. he can play deep and help his team keep the ball he can make runs behind the teams defenders and he can score goals when he gets the chance

With Joao Pedro not in the squad, Endrick not a regular starter, and Igor Thiago still settling into international football with Brazil. The striker for the team is obviously Matheus Cunha.

The Scotland defenders will have a time trying to stop Matheus Cunha.
