Ramona Hofmeister, the PyeongChang 2018 bronze medallist trails Tsubaki by just 46 points. The German has won four of the last five races and will enter the competition in a sensational form.

Here are the men stars to watch out:

Maurizio Bormolini

Maurizio Bormolini sits on top of the standings with 97 points clear of the second placed Radoslav Yankov. The Italian is the hot favourite for the crystal globe. He is also a big medal hope for his country at the Olympic Games in Milano Cortina 2026.

Radoslav Yankov

Each race win in the competition is worth 100 points. Radoslav  Yankov would likely have to win both races and hope Bormolini to suffer a shocking upset in Poland to have a chance at winning the crown in Krynica.
