Sport Climbing World Cup 2025 Brazil: Schedule, Live Streaming Details

3 Min Read

The IFSC Sport Climbing World Cup 2025 heads to the party in Curitiba, Brazil from 6-18 May.

This will mark the first Sport Climbing World Cup in South America. Athletes will showcase their speed and technique at the Brazilian National Climbing Training Centre.

Boulder will take centre stage as the only discipline on the schedule. At stake are the World Cup crucial points for the climbers.

With an atmosphere defined by energy, and a healthy serving of World Cup points to boot, expect nothing less than another thrilling competition at the  IFSC World Cup Sport Climbing 2025 Curitiba.

The Sport Climbing World Cup 2025 is the 37th edition of the international competition climbing series organised by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), held in 14 locations. There are 18 events per gender: six events each in the competition bouldering, competition lead climbing, and competition speed climbing disciplines.

The top three finishers in each individual competition receive medals, and the overall winners are awarded trophies. At the end of the season, an overall ranking is determined based upon points, which athletes are awarded for finishing in the top 40 of each individual event.

No climber has scored a perfect score (100 points) in a Boulder final under the new format this season. While that statistic seems unlikely to change given the precision needed to flash four Boulder problems of the highest difficulty, it certainly won’t stop athletes from dreaming about that moment.
