Suresh Raina expresses his concern regarding COVID-19; requests his fans to stay safe
Raina expressed his concern over the spread of COVID-19 on his Twitter account recently after the IPL was called off in the middle of the tournament.
With some players and staff testing positive for COVID-19, the Indian Premier League is called off. Many fans were disappointed to see their favorite tournament getting cancelled and many players asked their fans and supporters to stay safe highlighting the condition of the ongoing pandemic.
One such player is CSK’s Suresh Raina who highlighted the intensity of this condition and its danger to everyone. He also asked his fans to stay safe during this time and follow all the safety protocols. He says, ” This isn’t a joke anymore! So many lives at stake & never felt so helpless in life. No matter how much we want to help, but we are literally running out of resources. Every single person of this country deserves a salute right for standing by each other to save lives! #WeCandoit”
