After winning the Barbados 2024 T20 World Cup final, the Men in Blue are en route to India. According to reports, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Team India at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, in New Delhi.

They had planned to travel on Monday, July 1, but were forced to postpone due to the bad weather conditions. Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, set up a private jet for the group, which included the trapped Indian journalists.

After meeting the Prime Minister, Team India will go to Mumbai for the 2024 T20 World Cup victory roadshow, BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Rohit Sharma announced the T20 World Cup roadshow.

When it comes to length, India’s 2007 triumph parade for winning the T20 World Cup will be significantly shorter than the team’s 2007 celebration, which covered a 25-kilometer route from the airport to Wankhede Stadium. This time, the players will congregate in front of the Marine Drive crowd and proceed to the Wankhede Stadium, which is approximately a kilometre away.

It is also expected that the team will arrive at Wankhede Stadium, where they will be honoured and given a prize money reward of Rs. 125 crore by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It’s still unclear if spectators will be allowed into Wankhede Stadium.
