Telugu Titans vs Bengaluru Bulls: The Telugu Titans extended their great Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 campaign with a 37-32 win against Bengaluru Bulls in the Mini-Qualifier at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
An excellent all-round performance headed by Bharat Hooda and Vijay Malik, both of whom posted Super 10s, took the Titans into Eliminator 3, keeping their title aspirations alive.
For Bengaluru Bulls, Alireza Mirzaian’s courageous Super 10 was wasted, but they also have a lifeline to play Patna Pirates in Eliminator 2 on Monday.
High-Intensity Start to the Telugu Titans vs Bengaluru Bulls Clash
The contest started with both teams trading hits in the early stages. Vijay Malik and Alireza Mirzaian began promisingly, before Bharat Hooda’s thunderous two-point raid gave the Titans a slight upper hand.
The defenders later joined the fray Shubham Shinde and Deepak Sankar countered each other’s tackles, before Satyappa Matti and Akash Shinde replied for the Bulls, sending the scores 6-6.

The first big moment in the game came when Chetan Sahu completed a vital two-point Do-or-Die raid to take the Titans forward at 10-8 at the end of the first quarter.
Bharat and Aman extended the lead, but Akash Shinde’s two successful raids, one in a Do-or-Die attempt, saw the Bulls cut the margin to a single point. While the half went on, the Titans held a narrow 16-14 lead, with a steady defence and contributions from Bharat and Aman.
Bulls Strike Back Following Half-Time with an ALL OUT
The second half got off to a defensive start as tackles were exchanged by both teams Ajit Pawar for the Titans and Sanjay for the Bulls. Momentum soon shifted when Aashish Malik’s two-point raid and Satyappa Matti’s tackle helped the Bulls inflict their first ALL OUT, giving them a slender lead at 24-21.
But the Titans quickly regrouped Bharat Hooda’s two-point raid and Ajit Pawar’s key tackle levelled the scores at 24-24 with ten minutes remaining.
Bharat and Vijay’s Super 10s Power Titans Home
In the final moments, Bharat Hooda displayed his class again, finishing off his Super 10 and turning the tide in favor of the Titans. A game-altering tackle by Shankar Gadai resulted in an ALL OUT on Bengaluru Bulls, providing Telugu a cushion of 31-28 with fewer than six minutes remaining.
Vijay Malik later asserted himself, scoring crucial raid points to keep a stable four-point lead.While Alireza Mirzaian achieved his Super 10, it was not enough to dampen the charge of the Titans.
The game was sealed by Vijay in the last minute with another successful raid, achieving his Super 10 and guaranteeing the Titans a spot in Eliminator 3 with a 37-32 win.
