When you first unlock Town Hall 13 in Clash of Clans, defeating it in battles is not so easy. TH13 is very strong, with high-level defenses like Inferno Towers, Eagle Artillery, and super strong walls. Plus, the Town Hall itself becomes a weapon, which looks like a better version of the Inferno Tower.

So, if you want to 3-star a base with Town Hall 13, you need a smart plan. In this article, we’re sharing a simple and powerful attack strategy that can help you win easily. This strategy is especially for players who are new to TH13 or who find it difficult to 3-star.

TH13 Attack Strategy – Most Effective Plan for Beginners

Army Composition

Make your army like this:

• Heroes:
  • Barbarian King (Spiky Ball, Earthquake Boots)
  • Archer Queen (Giant Arrow, Magic Mirror)
  • Grand Warden (Eternal Tome, Healing Tome)
  • Royal Champion (Electro Boots, Royal Gem)
• Troops:
  • Archers x2
  • Super Wall Breaker x1
  • Super Wizards x11
  • Yetis x10
• Spells:
  • Rage Spell x1
  • Freeze Spell x3
  • Bat Spell x6
• Siege Machine: Log Launcher
• Clan Castle Troops:
  • Freeze Spell x1
  • Barbarian x1
  • Valkyrie x1
  • Yeti x2
  • Poison Spell x1

Step-by-Step Attack Guide

1. Start from Splash Damage Area

• First check where there are more splash damage defenses – like Wizard Towers, Bomb Towers, Scattershots. These defenses are dangerous for Bat Spells.

At those places:

• Deploy 2 Yetis + 2 Super Wizards from one corner
• Deploy the same troops on the other side
• Put a Super Wall Breaker in between these two groups so that the wall breaks

2. Deploy the main army

Now spread all the Yetis and Super Wizards in the middle area. Then:

• Barbarian King
• Archer Queen
• Grand Warden
• Log Launcher

Deploy everyone in a line. Now wait, enter the army base. When needed, use the Grand Warden’s ability or cast a Freeze Spell to keep the Siege Machine safe.

3. Town Hall Destroying

When your army reaches the Town Hall:

• Cast the Rage spell on them
• This will increase both their damage and speed

4. The Role of Bat Spells and Royal Champion

Now choose that part of the base where there is not much damage. There:

• Deploy Royal Champion
• Cast Bat Spells in his support
• But keep one thing in mind – splash damage defenses should be destroyed already. If not, then use Freeze Spell to stop them.

Pro Tip:

Casting Bat Spells in the blind spot of Scattershot is more beneficial. Drop them directly on him.
