The 2024-2025 NBA season is getting closer day by day. For supporters, this was a big day as it revealed the schedules of their teams.
When the schedule is made public, many people try to predict which team will face more challenges in the first few days of the campaign.
If you want to make it to the playoffs, these two months are crucial. If you finish strong until December, a postseason spot is likely. Still, some teams will face more challenges early in the season, which could determine their fate before April.

The toughest scheduling for the top teams starts with the 2024–25 NBA season.
OKC Thunder
On the last day of the regular season, the young OKC Thunder team clinched the top spot in the West, putting them in the driver’s seat. Now they will begin the 2024-25 campaign with some challenging games.
During the first two months of competition, the Thunder will play the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers. There will also be games against the LA Lakers and Orlando Magic in October and November.
The Golden State Warriors are in danger of losing their current season if they don’t play their game up at the start of next season.
In October and November, the Dubs will play the LA Clippers twice and the New Orleans Pelicans three times. Before December, they will also play the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and OKC Thunder.

Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks made it all the way to the Finals during their spectacular 2023-24 NBA season. They are ready to bounce back and contend for a championship once again after losing to the Celtics 4-1. But the start of the season will not be easy at all.
During the first two months of competition, the Mavericks will play twice against the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns. The Pelicans, Magic, Warriors, Rockets, Knicks, Timberwolves, and Pacers will visit or host the Texans in between these contests.
LA Clippers
From the very start of the season, the LA Clippers will have to show that they are a team that focuses on winning. To avoid missing out on the postseason, the Los Angeles team will need to get back in sync with each other after missing out on key pieces during the NBA offseason.
The Clippers will play twice against the Kings, 76ers, Suns, Thunder, and Warriors. There will also be competition from other elite teams like the Celtics, Magic and Nuggets.
Phoenix Suns
In October and November, if the Suns have a difficult schedule at the start of the season, they could go to war with the Clippers. They intend to do well in the 2023-24 NBA season under the leadership of Mike Buddenholzer.
Phoenix will play the Mavericks and Clippers twice and the Lakers three. They will be welcomed by other formidable teams including the 76ers, Knicks, Magic, Warriors, Thunder and Timberwolves.
