She also represented India at prestigious tournaments like the Women’s Chess Olympiad, Women’s World Team Chess Championship, and Women’s Asian Team Chess Championship.

Vaishali is a 22-year-old chess player from Chennai, India. She is the younger sister of Famous chess player Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu. She earned the title of International Master (IM) IN 2015. In December 2023, Vaishali crossed the 2500 FIDE rating, putting herself on track to becoming India’s third female Grandmaster after Koneru Humpy and Harika Dronavalli. At the age of 12, Vaishali defeated future World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen in a simul exhibition. Along with her brother Praggnanandhaa, they became the first-ever sister-brother pair to qualify for the respective Candidates Tournaments, marking a historic moment in chess history.
