Indian wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik opened up on being in the Indian team after waiting for so many years. Also he says, he is so grateful to be part of the Indian cricket team. Dinesh Karthik won the man of the match award for scoring 55 runs in just 27 balls in the fourth T20I against South Africa.
Dinesh Karthik played some exquisite shots in the end to help India reach a good total of 169/6 in 20 overs. This was Wicket-keeper batter’s first ever half-century in the T20Is for Indian team. He made his debut in 2006 and and took 16 years to make his first fifty in the T20Is. It was some inning from him in the fourth T20I against South Africa on Friday, 17th June. The game was played at Rajkot, Gujarat.
“I am very happy and proud. It is an incredible atmosphere and team to be part of. For 3 years now, I have been on the outside looking in so I know what a special feeling it is to be part of this team,” said Dinesh Karthik via BCCI.tv.
Dinesh Karthik is in a brilliant run of form since he got into his new IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore. He also finished so many games for RCB this year and was one of the important players for them.
