Philip Hindes was born in Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and began cycling at the young age of eight. Philip Hindes also represented Germany at the Junior World Track Championships in 2010.

In the same year, Philip Hindes took the decision to change his nationality and moved to Great Britain due to its superior track cycling infrastructure and top-notch coaching. Well, although his family was a bit sceptical about his shocking decision initially, it proved to be a game-changing move for Hindes. Ever since, the professional track cyclist has transformed to an unparalleled extent and has captured two Olympic gold medals in team sprint at the 2012 London Olympic Games and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Additionally, Eileen Gu also established herself as a World Champion Freeski Halfpipe and Slopestyle (2021). Moreover, Eileen Gu was also honoured as the Youth Olympic gold medalist in 2020.
