UCL: Valverde included for Liverpool trip but Hazard misses out for Real Madrid
Uruguayan came off injured in the Clasico but he will travel to Anfield but not Eden Hazard
There is a piece of positive news for the Real Madrid Valverde is back in the squad for the Liverpool clash, and he will be accompanying the team on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League fixture. But Eden Hazard to Miss out again.
Eden Hazard has not returned in time to be included in the squad list for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Liverpool at Anfield.
Fede Valverde will be there, as the Uruguayan midfielder will take the trip to England following coming off injured in El Clasico last weekend.
With Hazard, Zinedine Zidane does not desire to take any risks with the Belgian and has rejected to give in to the pressure of bringing him back for the Clasico or the Liverpool tie.
Hazard has been out since March 13 with a psoas injury, which he picked up during Real Madrid’s match versus Elche.
Valverde, while, did not train with his Real Madrid teammates on Monday morning, but the anticipation is that he will be back in time for Wednesday night’s fixture.
There is the thought that Valverde could probably fill in at right-back, given that neither Dani Carvajal nor Lucas Vazquez are available. He could even receive an injection in order to play against Liverpool.
