Manchester United have maintained their place in the Europa League final, despite a 3-2 downfall against semifinal rivals Roma. Spaniards endure out for a 0-0 draw against Arsenal to block Premier League finals sweep, the Spanish team Villareal bound past London side Arsenal to claim their final spot in Europa League. The English side will play Villarreal in the final on May 26 in Gdansk.

After 4 semi-final eliminations, Villarreal qualifies for a European final for the first time in the club’s history. On May 6th, 2004 when Valencia beat Villarreal in the UEFA Cup semi-final second leg, and on May 6th, 2021 when Villarreal beat Arsenal on aggregate to reach their first European final.
