The Series is a tri-nation series where the national cricket teams of three nations will be participating in a set of 6 One Day International (ODI) format matches. The matches will start from the 27th of February 2023 and last till 6th Match 2023. The points gained by the teams in these matches and series would help them in getting the qualification to compete for the ICC Men’s World Cup qualification this year as well. This year, the men’s world cup will happen in India. While some teams are confirmed as usual, others have to go through the qualification matches to gain a spot.
United Arab Emirates will be hosting the matches. After the tri series in Nepal is over, the national team along with Papua New Guinea will be travelling to the UAE. The hard work of the teams would help them gain the right number of points and eventually a spot in the topmost ranks of the International Cricket. Although other international teams are much more capable and skilled; however, it is anticipated that these smaller teams would eventually grow and give their players the much-needed exposure to compete on a higher level.
