In IPL 2026, it was a blockbuster season for the young star, scoring 776 runs in 16 matches at an average of 48.50, and he broke numerous records, one of them being breaking Chris Gayle’s record for the most sixes in an IPL season, where Vaibhav tops the list with 72 sixes, leaving the legend Chris Gayle behind.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s Earnings from Prize Money in IPL 2026
Starting with the Orange Cap winner, Sooryavanshi won the prize money of INR 10 Lakh. Throughout the IPL 2026 season, he scored a valuable 776 runs, which also included a highest score of 103 runs, and he sealed this award with his ferocious performance. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also won the award for Most Valuable Player (MVP) and got the prize money of INR 10 Lakh, along with the Super Striker of the Season award, with a fantastic strike rate of 237.31.
He also got the award of Emerging Player of the Season with a prize amount of INR 10 Lakh. With a record-breaking 72 sixes in this season, he got the award for Most Sixes and also received INR 10 Lakh.
