Moeen Ali was a part of the England team that faced India in the recently-concluded ODI series.
It’ll be interesting to see how Moeen performs in the upcoming edition of IPL as he has a lot of experience playing on Indian pitches.
If we see his records in IPL, Moeen has played 19 Matches in which he scored 309 Runs with the Strike Rate of 158.46 and has also picked up 10 Wickets. It’ll be very interesting to see how he performs under the Dhoni’s Captaincy.
Last season, though, CSK had a bad run. They finished in seventh position with six wins and eight losses and the team was unable to reach the playoffs for the first time. But, they are one of the most successful franchises in the IPL, having won the T20 competition thrice. Only Mumbai Indians have won the IPL 5 times.
