Last night DC won the match against MI by 6 wickets. At the post-match press conference, Jayant Yadav of MI said “We showed lots of character to drag the match till the last over”. MI made 137-9(20) runs and DC beat this score by making 138-4(19.1)runs in yesterday’s match. As MI opted to bat after winning the toss. Rohit scored 44 runs in 30 balls and hit 3 fours and 3 sixes and tried to give a great score to MI in yesterday’s match but could not lead the MI score well. Whereas Suryakumar Yadav made 24 runs in 15 balls with 1 four. Jayant Yadav scored 23 runs in 22 balls and hit 1 four. Hardik could not earn any run in last night’s match.

Mishra took over the game and picked 4 game changer wickets. He picked Pollard’s wicket and Pollard scored only 2 runs in 5 balls. Along with this Stoinis, Rabada, and Lalit each picked one wicket and Avesh Khan 2 wickets’. And when DC came to bat in the field, Dhawan’s consistent performance lead the DC to win the match. He scored 45 runs in 42 balls, Steve Smith scored 33 runs in 29 balls and DC beat the score set by MI. MI tried also tried his best to stop DC from scoring more as Jayant,Jasprit, Rahul, and Pollard each picked one wicket but could not stop Dhawan’s laudable performance.
