The Laver Cup 2025 is set to be held from September 17-21 in San Francisco, USA. The annual hardcourt event will feature some of the stars in men’s tennis with Team Europe and Team World locking horns once again.
Each team will comprise of six players each who will participate in 12 matches. The victory points increases by the day, starting at one point on day one and ending at three points on day three.
After back-to-back defeats, it Team Europe emerged as champions in Berlin back in 2024, and Team World will be determined to wrestle their title back Europe holds a 5-2 lead across the seven previous events.
What is the prize money at Laver Cup 2025?
For 2025, Laver Cup prize money is $1,500,000 or €1,276,155 and £1,103,411, a sizeable purse where only 12 players participate.
Each winning team member will earn $250,000, translating to €212,692 and £183,928. This amount is rewarded as flat fees per player, regardless of individual performance. All team members win the same amount regardless of their participation across matches.
Beyond prize money, players earn guaranteed participation fees commensurate with their rankings, so the higher-ranked a player, the more they make for showing up. That means Carlos Alcaraz, who was ranked second after Roland Garros, will receive the highest appearance fee, while Taylor Fritz will receive the second-highest appearance fee.
The losing team doesn’t win any prize money. They will pocket only the participation fee.
