The fitness test for Captain MS Dhoni will take place soon, and if successful, he will make his first appearance of the year on April 11 at the Chepauk Stadium.
MS Dhoni Has Started Training In Chennai
It should be noted that MS Dhoni suffered a calf muscle injury just prior to the start of the IPL, causing him to miss the first two weeks of the tournament. However, after returning to training about a week ago, he is again clearing huge sixes in the nets. Because of his injury, he had not previously travelled with the team.
Brevis Could Also Play Against Delhi
Dewald Brevis has turned the corner with his injury as he has now started training after having a side strain following earlier on with an injury right before start of season.
He will likely be playing in game against Delhi on April 11. Dewald will really help the team from the middle of their batting order. Unfortunately, still no real news on if Dhoni will be back soon.
