PC: PGA Professional Championship
The Women PGA Championships 2025 is the third major event of the LPGA season, and it marks a historic moment as it makes its debut in Texas, at the FieldEast at PGA Frisco. The course will play to a par of 72. A total of 156 competitors will participate in the event, including 12 former champions and winners of the first two 2025 majors, plus eight club professionals. The field will be cut to the top 70 players and ties after 36 holes. The tournament comes with a prize pool of $10.4 million, with the champion earning $1.56 million.
The 2025 Women PGA Championships 2025, the third major of the LPGA Tour 2025 will take place from 19 to 22 June 2025 at Fields Ranch East, PGA Frisco, Texas. This marks its first time in Texas.
The defending champion of the event is Amy Yang of South Korea, who will return to defend her title this year as well. Other notable players include world No. 1 Nelly Korda, Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion, and Lydia Ko, Paris 2024 gold medalist and three-time major winner.
