The 2024 Women’s Asia Cup tournament is scheduled from July 19 to 28, taking place exclusively in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. It comprises a total of 15 matches, including 12 group stage games, two semi-finals on July 26, and the final on July 28.

This year the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 will have eight teams up from seven in the previous edition. Also, this time the eight teams have been divided into two groups.
While Group A has India, Nepal, Pakistan, and UAE, on the other hand, hosts Sri Lanka are with Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Thailand in Group B. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals, with each team playing the other teams in their group once.
This change follows the tournament’s 2022 expansion to seven teams, which was made in response to the rising interest in women’s cricket in the area and increased competitiveness.
