The Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 has been relocated to a new country. The IKF (International Kabaddi Federation) has announced the new dates and venue for upcoming edition of the tournament.
The tournament will now take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 15th to 25th November.
In a historic landmark, this will be the first-ever Kabaddi World Cup to be held outside India, with all previous editions of both the men’s and women’s Kabaddi World Cup having been hosted in the country.
The Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 was originally scheduled to take place in Rajgir, a city in the Bihar province of India, from June 1 to June 10, but the state later withdrew from its hosting responsibilities.
Later, the IKF announced that the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad would host the tournament from August 3 to 10. However, it did not materialise and the organising body had postponed the tournament indefinitely.
In a surprising move, the venue has been relocated once again, this time to Dhaka, Bangladesh.
