The U.S. contingent for the upcoming World Figure Skating Championships has been confirmed and top athletes from the country are set to take the stage.
The 2025 World Figure Skating Championships will be held in Boston from 25–30 March.
The star-studded field comprises two-time U.S. champion and 2024 Grand Prix Final winner Amber Glenn, who will be joined by Beijing 2022 Olympian and world bronze medallist Alysa Liu and reigning world silver medallist Isabeau Levito.
Levito’s participation is pending a “return-to-play protocol,” according to the release by the U.S. Figure Skating. The 17-year-old has been struggling with an injury that kept her out of her second Grand Prix assignment late last year and this week’s U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas.
Sarah Everhardt, Bradie Tennell, and Starr Andrews have been named as alternates for the World Figure Skating Championships 2025.
On the other hand, Elyce Lin-Gracey and Sophie Joline von Felten will represent the United States at the Junior Worlds in Debrecen, Hungary.
The World Figure Skating Championships 2025 in Boston will determine the number of athletes each nation can send to next year’s Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
U.S. Figure Skating also confirmed the squad for the Four Continents Championships, naming Everhardt, Glenn, and Liu to the event scheduled for 18–23 February in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
