Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, is about to make history. The Tribal Chief has been in office for almost a thousand days.

Kevin Nash, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, discussed Reigns on a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast. He emphasized how WWE has to support The Tribal Chief since he is about to reach a tremendous milestone.

“You have to do it, it’s so close to 1,000 [days]. If I had turf toe, I think [Cal] Ripken would have f***ing just taken the day off. He’s getting too close to one thousand right now, one of the milestones. You can only be as prosperous as your f***ing top guy, and Roman is that guy at the moment. Roman is your money guy and has the cool element, according to Nash.

Nash reflected on his own stellar world title run, which Bret Hart ultimately put an end to. He emphasized that Reigns is currently receiving more backing from WWE than he did. Nash made the implication that his title run would have been legendary had he received some assistance.

They used Bret and I in their scheme. Diesel would have had a far better f***ing run if I had eliminated Bret before the filming. But I believe that it wounded me and that they weren’t prepared to make that commitment because they wouldn’t commit and put all of their eggs in one basket. The Hall of Famer complained that things had gone too well.

The Bloodline, a faction led by Reigns, appears to have teamed up with The Judgment Day to eliminate opponents including Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, and Cody Rhodes. On Monday night’s episode of Raw, Paul Heyman requested the members of The Judgement Day, Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley, to help The Bloodline with its issues in exchange for assistance in their conflict with the LWO. Balor, Priest, and Mysterio competed against Owens-Zayn-Riddle in a three-way match, with the latter winning. Rey Mysterio was defeated by Solo Sikoa in a different fight that night.
