In this week’s WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre secured his spot in the 2024 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. After his victory, he took a jab at his long-time rival, CM Punk.

The feud between McIntyre and Punk has been ongoing for months. At Clash at the Castle: Scotland, Punk cost Drew a chance to win the World Heavyweight Championship in a match against Damian Priest.

Recently, on SmackDown, McIntyre viciously attacked Punk before shifting his attention to the 2024 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. This week on RAW, the former WWE Champion defeated Ilja Dragunov and Sheamus in a Triple Threat Match. After his win, McIntyre declared himself the “real Best in the World,” a direct shot at Punk, who often uses that title for himself.


“The REAL Best in the World,” McIntyre proclaimed.

Drew McIntyre praised Sheamus as the hardest-hitting WWE Superstar he’s ever faced Drew McIntyre and Sheamus have a storied history together. The two once again faced off in this week’s Monday Night RAW Triple Threat Match, which also included Ilja Dragunov.

In a recent WWE video, McIntyre acknowledged The Celtic Warrior as the hardest-hitting professional wrestler he has encountered. He commended Sheamus’ striking abilities, emphasizing his deadly punches and forearms.

“Number one, absolutely. No question about it. He is the hardest-hitting professional wrestler in the history of potentially professional wrestling. Deadly punches, deadly forearms, I’ve taken all those strikes, and overall, Sheamus is number one,” McIntyre stated.

Earlier this year, McIntyre briefly held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL. However, Damian Priest quickly cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to dethrone McIntyre, who was entangled in a brawl with CM Punk.

Drew McIntyre now aims to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. He will compete alongside Jey Uso, LA Knight, Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, and Chad Gable in the 2024 Men’s Ladder Match.
