The 29-year-old Krunal made his debut in 2018, has played eighteen T20 Internationals. After receiving the cap from his brother Hardik, Krunal could be seen looking toward the sky, probably remembering his late father and teared up a little before being embraced by his younger brother.

Notably, the game will see two pairs of brothers play against each other. Where India has Hardik and Krunal as Pandya brothers, England has sent to field both Tom Curran and Sam Curran.
