WrestleMania 41 is almost here, and fans are more excited than ever. With just 10 days left, WWE’s biggest show of the year is ready to bring surprises, dream matches, and maybe even shocking superstar returns.
Every year, WrestleMania brings special moments. This is the event where stories end, new rivalries start, and former stars often return to make history once again. This year could be no different, and some big names might be on their way back to WWE.
Here are three former WWE superstars who could return at WrestleMania 41 and shake things up.
1. Rusev
Rusev, also known as Miro in AEW, was once one of WWE’s most popular powerhouses. He was released from WWE in 2020 due to budget cuts but soon joined AEW later that year. Though he had a strong start in AEW, things remained unchanged.
By early 2024, Rusev had been out of action for a while and requested his release. Now, reports suggest he was seen at WWE headquarters, and many believe he is ready for a big return.
With Randy Orton currently without an opponent due to Kevin Owens’ injury, Rusev could step in and face The Viper at WrestleMania 41. This would be a powerful match and a perfect way to reintroduce Rusev to WWE fans.
2. Lana
Lana (real name CJ Perry) is Rusev’s real-life wife and a former WWE star. She also had a short run in AEW before being released in 2023. Now, there are rumors she might come back to WWE too.
Lana was known for her storylines with Rusev, and if he returns, it makes sense for her to be part of it as well. She has also shown her skills in the ring, having memorable matches with Nia Jax, Brie Bella, and others.
If she returns, she could be added to the women’s division, which could use more experienced talent. Her comeback would be exciting for fans who remember her dramatic moments and strong character work.
3. Aleister Black
One of the most talked-about possible returns is Aleister Black, who was known as Malakai Black in AEW. He once ruled NXT and had a mysterious, dark persona in WWE from 2017 to 2021.
After leaving WWE, he joined AEW and formed The House of Black with other dark and powerful wrestlers. But now, with his AEW contract over, rumors suggest he may return and possibly at WrestleMania 41.
Some say he could go face-to-face with Randy Orton, while others believe he might join or challenge The Wyatt Sicks, a dark group led by Uncle Howdy. Either way, his return could be a turning point in WWE.
Fans expect a fresh storyline, and Aleister Black’s return would bring a different energy to the roster. If he does wrestle at WrestleMania, don’t be surprised if he picks up a win on his return night.
