  1. Became the oldest Goal Scorer In Nations League Finals- At 40 years years of age, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the oldest player to play and score in a Nations League Final. He scored in the 61st minute of the game from a deflected Nuno Mendes cross. 
  2. Most Goals Scored against the Top 8 National Teams- Although he had the record already to his name, Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 10 goals against top teams in world football. To put it into perspective, the second person on the list is Zinedine Zidane who has scored 7 goals and Lionel Messi has only 3. 
  3. 938th goal– This has to be the craziest stat out of all, the Portuguese icon has scored 938 goals in his career and is still counting. Goalscorers with more than 300 goals are considered iconic and elite but what category do you stand in, if you have scored 938 goals? Maybe in a league of your own. 
  4. 1st Captain to win the Nations league twice

    Portugal became the first team to win the Nations league for the second time after winning the first edition of the tournament in 2019. Ronaldo was the captain of the team on both occasions and has now etched this record also to his name.

Highest Goalscorer Of League A– Although Viktor Gyokeres scored 9 goals in league C but teams in other than League A are not allowed to play in the knockouts stages of the tournament meaning League A is actually the big boy league and Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest goal scorer for this season. He has scored 8 goals in the tournament and ends as the golden boot of League A.
