The IPL 2022 player auction will take take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. A total of 590 players will be auctioned off before of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League. The whole roster includes 370 Indians and 220 international players who will compete for record-breaking bids. After the inclusion of the Lucknow and Ahmedabad franchises, the IPL 2022 will feature a total of ten teams.

1 Mohammad Shami
Mohammed Shami was India’s star player in the recent Test series against South Africa. He was a member of the Punjab Kings last season, when he spearheaded the bowling attack and took 19 wickets in just 14 games. The paceman has set a starting price of Rs 2 crore.
2. Trent Boult
Trent Boult, fast bowler from New Zealand, was one of the favorites to join Rohit Sharma’s team. He was named Player of the Match in Mumbai’s title-winning season in 2020, and he makes a dangerous combo with Jasprit Bumrah. Last year, he took 13 wickets at an economy rate of less than eight runs per over.
3. Harshal Patel
He tied Dwayne Bravo for the most wickets in an IPL season and was named as the best wicket-taker in the league. The fact that he was not retained by his IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore, came as a surprise to many.
4. Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins was signed by KKR for a substantial sum of Rs 15.5 crore, and there’s no reason why he can’t set the auction table on fire again. KKR, the two-time IPL winners, had to release stars such as Shubman Gill, Cummins, Eoin Morgan, and Dinesh Karthik. However, the Australian cricketer’s all-round qualities make him an ideal choice for T20 cricket.
5. Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada of South Africa is also in the Rs 2 million range. He took 15 wickets in 15 games for Delhi Capitals last year. Rabada and Anrich Nortje were teammates with the Delhi Capitals in the previous two seasons, and may sign for them again.
