It looked like 172 runs were not enough to stop the Champions as they chased it effortlessly. De Kock’s 70 polished the run chase as he managed to found his form this season. Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya scored some quick runs and made it easy for Mumbai Indians. Krunal scored 39 from 26 balls and Pollard made 16 from 8 to seal the deal against Rajasthan Royals.
Rajasthan set a total of 171 runs at the Delhi pitch and failed to defend it. Rajasthan Captain’s was their highest scorer with 42 runs from 27 runs. RR bowlers struggled again to pick early wickets and it was Morris who picked up the 2 early wickets Rajasthan got. But somehow De Kock set his feet and remained not out with classy innings.
