The 2024 ATP season is heading to its finale after almost a year of heated clashes and rivalries. The year saw exciting battles among the best of the players on the tennis court. Players like Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev displayed brilliance in the arena.
Let us now look at the top five players with most wins in the ATP tour in 2024:
Alexander Zverev (66-20)
Alexander Zverev won his first ATP Masters 1000 final last month. By winning the trophy, Zverev became the player with most wins in the 2024 season at 66. The Paris Masters win was the second ATP 1000 win of the season following the victory in Rome, leaving the German with a 28-7 win at Masters events. He also moved up to No. 2 in the ATP rankings.
Jannik Sinner (65-6)
Second on the list of players with most wins in 2024 is World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, who won seven ATP titles this season, including two Grand Slams (Australian Open and the US Open). The Italian can also bagged titles at Masters events in Miami, Cincinnati and Shanghai among his 65-win haul.
Despite withdrawing from the ATP Paris Masters, the 23-year-old Sinner is 23-2 in Grand Slams and 28-2 in Masters events. He is also an astounding 7-1 in finals this season. He could not win the China Open in Beijing, where he played Carlos Alcaraz for the win. Sinner is also 12-5 against the ATP top 10 in 2024.

Carlos Alcaraz (52-11)
Carlos Alcaraz has 52 wins in the season. Alcaraz has 19-2 in Grand Slams, 16-5 in Masters and 4-1 in finals. The Spaniard notched up the Channel Slam (wins at Wimbledon and Roland Garros) and the Indian Wells Masters. Alcaraz won silver at the Paris Olympics going down to Novak Djokovic in the finals of the singles draw. The Spaniard also cobbled together a 11-3 record against the ATP top 10.
Taylor Fritz (49-21)
Taylor Fritz raked up 49 wins on the ATP Tour in 2024. He became the first American since Andy Roddick (2003), to reach the final of the US Open. He also became the first three-time winner at Eastbourne when he won the 2024 title, adding to his wins from 2019 and 2022.
Fritz has a 17-4 win-loss in Grand Slams, 14-9 in Masters and 4-1 in five-setters. The World No. 6 is also the top-ranked American on tour and the first since Andre Agassi in 2003 to make it to the second week of all majors in the same year.

Casper Ruud (49-22)
Casper Ruud has an impressive 3-0 record in the decider of five-set matches in 2024. A win-loss of 10-4 in Grand Slams and 12-8 in Masters events helped him 49 match wins.
In 2024, the Norwegian added an ATP 500 title to his collection for the first time. The win came at the Barcelona Open in April, his biggest win till date.
Ruud is also a three-time champion of the Geneva Open and has compiled a 4-2 record against the ATP top 10 in 2024. His 15-6 record in deciders is better than that of Sinner (13-6) and Alcaraz (7-3) in the year-to-date.
