The Portuguese football enjoys a large number of followers on his YouTube channel which he launched in August this year. The channel gained a record 20 million subscribers in just a span of 24 hours. The number has now crossed 60 million subscribers.
The ace footballer is now gearing up to take the internet by storm with a new guest for his podcast.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s next guest
In one of his recent videos, Ronaldo was seen interacting with his former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand at his residence. The 39-year-old appeared to be a little surprised as the Englishman visited him early in the morning. Ronaldo said that he was recording the video and Ferdinand was curious to know who will be the next guest on his popular channel.
Ferdinand tried his luck and asked a few questions to guess the new guest but however, Ronaldo wanted it to be a “secret”.
The 42-year-old took a guess and enquired his ex-teammate, “Is it a famous person?”
Ronaldo gave a cheeky response. “More famous than you (Ferdinand),” he said.
The former footballer assumed Ronaldo might be talking about Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.
“No, but that would be nice,” he clarified.
Ferdinand wasn’t giving up though as he fired another query.
“Is it an athlete or a singer?” the former England international asked.
Ronaldo laughed before replying, “We are going to break the internet.”
Fans and social media users have been making guesses over who might be the new guest. Some are guessing that it could be a collaboration with famous YouTuber MrBeast who has a set of 330 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. A recent video from MrBeast has over 97 million views.
A podcast with MrBeast could indeed break the internet. Both the personalities have a massive fan following and the coming together of both the forces would mean a field day for netizens.
