On Saturday’s most awaited match between the old rivals, Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings, the Mumbai squad won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Chennai lost their opener Rituraj Gaikwad early in the match but Faf Du Plessis and Moeen Ali’s amazing innings bought the team back on its toes as the duo completed a 100 run partnership.
After Moeen and Du Plessis’s dismissal the middle order of the team was supposed to stand strong but Veteran batsman Suresh Raina failed once again as he was dismissed for just 2 runs by Kieron Pollard.
Pollard’s fuller ball around the off forced Raina to aggressively try and storm the ball over mid but he failed to hit it with the middle forcing the ball high up in the air resulting in an easy catch for Krunal Pandya.
The Chennai Super Kings are currently batting at 126 runs for the loss of 4 wickets with 5 overs to go.
