Dilip Kumar Bose, executive of the Hindustan Football Club, died at an emergency response room in Delhi on Saturday evening. He was in his mid-70s.

Bose, whose group has played the I-League second division a few times and won the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) Senior Division League a few times, was conceded to the Indian Spinal Injury Center at Vasant Kunj on April 29.

In a sympathy message, FD president Shaji Prabhakaran said, “The departure of DK da is an individual misfortune. I’ve known him for over 20 years and firmly followed every one of his endeavors in football. We will consistently recollect Mr. DK Bose as a capable head who has given everything for the game. It will be hard for Delhi football to fill the vacuum left by him. We will miss him for sure.”
