Team India New Tricolor Jersey: On the eve of the three-match ODI series between India and England, BCCI has launched the new tricolor jersey of Team India ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025.
The first ODI match between India and England will be played in Nagpur on Thursday. Just before this match, BCCI has shared photos of all the players included in the squad on its X handle, in which they are seen wearing the new jersey with the tricolor.
However, the jersey that the board has just launched will be worn by the Indian players during the ODI series against England. But it is completely confirmed that in the Champions Trophy 2025 too, the Indian players will wear a similar jersey on which the logo of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Pakistan will be attached.
Last month, the news went viral on social media that BCCI had refused to write the name of host Pakistan on Team India’s jersey, but later ICC rejected their demand citing rules.
This time, the logo of the Champions Trophy has also seen a change. When the Champions Trophy was last played in 2017, its logo was different, whereas in 2025 it has been completely changed.

Team India New Tricolor Jersey: Indian players seen in new avatar before England ODI series
BCCI organized a photo session of Indian players before the first ODI match to be played in Nagpur and shared the photo on its official X handle. All the Indian players are seen in a different avatar in this jersey.
However, the surprising thing is that a total of 15 players’ photos have been shared in the thread, but captain Rohit Sharma is not seen in it. The photo of the team’s vice-captain Shubman Gill has been posted first in this thread.
