Kudo World Cup 2025 Trials Set to Take Place in Surat

Sohail Khan, a junior Kudo world champion, has solidified his status as one of India’s most skilled martial artists.

The “Golden Boy of Madhya Pradesh,” famous Indian martial expert Sohail Khan, will compete in the Kudo World Cup 2025 trials, which will take place in Surat from February 8–9. Top martial artists from more than 60 countries will compete in the prestigious Kudo World Cup in Bulgaria this May, and these trials will be the last selection phase.

Sohail has been hard training for this high-stakes Kudo World Cup, in which he will be entering in the Men’s -250 PI category (19+ age group). Dr. Mohammad Aijaz Khan supervises his practical and strategic training to make sure he improves his abilities and his combat tactics for the Kudo World Cup 2025 trials.

He also receives strength and conditioning training in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, under the supervision of Deepak Tiwari, who helps in the growth of the stamina and strength needed for combat at the peak level. Sohail is dedicated to securing his place in the Indian squad through a combination of improving skills while training.

After winning a bronze at the Eurasian Kudo Cup 2024 in Armenia, the 2017 junior Kudo world champion Sohail, has already guaranteed India a spot at the Kudo World Cup, but he still needs to perform his best for Kudo World Cup 2025 trials in Surat to officially register his spot in the list of Indian teams.

Participants from the age 19–21 and 21+ groups will participate in the Kudo World Cup 2025 trials, and the trials authority will ensure that only the top participants will advance for this elite competition, which is exclusively open to national and international medalists from the 2024–25 season.

Sohail Khan’s Achievements

Sohail Khan, who was born on August 18, 1999, has made a name for himself as one of India’s most skilled martial artists. His honours include four international gold medals, showing his domination in the sport.
