The second semi-final of the 2017 Champions Trophy pitted India against Bangladesh. Batting first, Bangladesh amassed 264/7 thanks to outstanding knocks from Tamim Iqbal (70) and Mushfiqur Rahim (61).

In reply, India chased down the target with ease and scored 265 runs in 40.1 overs for the loss of just 1 wicket. Rohit Sharma (123*), Virat Kohli (96*) and Shikhar Dhawan (46) played a key role in India’s victory.

9. New Zealand: 265 vs India (Nairobi, 2000)

India and New Zealand faced each other in the final of the 2000 Champions Trophy (formerly known as the ICC KnockOut Trophy). India scored 264/6 when they batted first, led by a spectacular 117-run performance from Sourav Ganguly.

In the Champions Trophy 2025, Australia pulled off the biggest run chase in Champions Trophy history against England in Lahore. They created history in this match by successfully chasing 352 runs with 15 balls to spare.

In this match, England batted first and scored a huge score of 351/8, with Ben Duckett scoring a brilliant 165 runs, which is the biggest innings in Champions Trophy history. However, Australia’s Josh Inglis played an unbeaten innings of 120 runs in 86 balls to take his team to a score of 356/5 and register a historic win.
